Makrana pairs deep black and white marble in a graphic, two-tone contrast — each lidded pot topped with warm gold, sitting together on a coordinating marble tray. Named for the Indian quarry that has produced some of the world's finest marble for centuries, it brings that same material legacy to the dinner table in a thoroughly modern form. Salt, mustard, jam, olive oil — whatever goes inside, the outside is already the best thing on the table.
