LED Holiday Tree in Iron

A lit tree that fits on a shelf and doesn't need a string of lights.

The tree is built from iron and ABS plastic with LEDs integrated into the form, so it lights on its own and there's no separate strand to wrap or hide. At 15 inches tall and just over 10 inches wide it's scaled for a mantel, an entry console, or a nightstand, the spots where a full tree won't fit but a lit one is wanted. Because the frame is iron, it stands stable on a narrow shelf and goes back in the box each January without losing its shape.

Set it on a console with the room lights low; it does more work as the only light on the surface than as one of several.
